Epic Fail - Their Loss, Your Gain

Here's the new "Epic Fail" series I'll be working through at Prestoncrst for the next few months at Prestoncrest . . .

Jezebel. . .Judas Iscariot. . .Pontius Pilate. . .Pharoah. . .Simon the Sorcerer. . .Saphira . . . These are real men and women who were given remarkable resources. They enjoyed connections, positions, opportunities, and wealth that few of us will ever experience, but they still managed to blow it through catastrophically poor decisions.

The Urban Dictionary defines Epic Fail this way: Complete and total failure when success should have been reasonably easy to attain.

Yep, that pretty much sums up the lives of these people.

In the pages of the Bible, God chose to forever record their failure. Why? Why does God’s Word tell us their stories? Because, quite simply, their loss can be your gain.

Our loving Father God longs for each of us to live in such a way that we experience the blessings of living under the cover of time tested principles that produce balanced, healthy, and impactful lives. Their Epic Fail stories reveal practical principles for a happy life and also illustrate in full color what happens when those principles are ignored.
