I'm thankful to an anonymous couple who have taken away any excuse I might have to not help those I come across who are in need. A couple of weeks back in Tucumcari, NM, I ran across John, a homeless fellow who was hungry. Here's what happened. . .

Gordon, I truly believe that God does not require us to answer for what people do with those few dollars that we give them; he requires me to GIVE them!!
The other blessing to that kind of gift is the impact is has on our children - our two sons are two of the most compassionate young men ever, because they have seen their Dad and me willing to give and to share!
