Her day was transformed in the Starbuck's drive-thru

A couple of weeks ago, my friend Becky was having a rotten morning. The kicker was when, on the way to work, she went through the drive-thru at Starbuck's and they were out of low-fat blueberry muffins. She did, however, order her usual latte. Anyway, she knew it was going to be one of those days.

Grumpy, she eased forward to the window. Shen she pulled out her money to pay, the clerk at the window informed her that the car in front of her had paid for her coffee. She looked up, but that person was already gone. Game changer.

She shared the story with a grin last night and said that her whole day turned around with that one simple act of kindness from a stranger. Of course, she couldn't wait to get back to Starbuck's to do the same thing for the person behind her. She did, and it made her feel even better!

Small acts of kindness do more good than we know. Do some random, secret act of kindness for someone today!

Mark 9:41 I tell you the truth, anyone who gives you a cup of water (or latte) in my name because you belong to Christ will certainly not lose his reward. NIV
